The Nurofen for Children 6 Plus Orange is a concentrated formula containing 200mg of ibuprofen per 5ml, making it double the strength of standard infant Nurofen. This allows for smaller dosing volumes for older children, which is often easier for them to swallow. It starts to work on fevers in just 15 minutes and provides relief for up to 8 hours. This sugar-free and color-free suspension is designed to treat symptoms associated with colds, flu, teething, headaches, and earaches.

Key Ingredients

Glycerol & Maltitol Liquid: Used as sweeteners and bulking agents (sugar-free).
How to Take
6–9 Years (20kg–30kg): 5ml (one 5ml spoonful) up to 3 times in 24 hours.
9–12 Years (30kg–40kg): 7.5ml (one 5ml + one 2.5ml spoonful) up to 3 times in 24 hours.
Wait: Leave at least 6 to 8 hours between doses.
Max Dose: Do not exceed 3 doses in any 24-hour period.
What Medicines NOT to Take
Other Ibuprofen products: Do not use alongside Nurofen melts, capsules, or other brands like Brupro.
Other NSAIDs: Avoid use if the child is taking other anti-inflammatory medications.
Aspirin: Do not give aspirin to children under 16 unless specifically advised by a doctor.
