The Nurofen for Children 60mg Suppositories provide a reliable alternative for treating pain and high temperatures when your child is vomiting, experiencing nausea, or having difficulty swallowing liquids. Each suppository contains 60mg of Ibuprofen, which works to reduce inflammation and lower fevers for up to 8 hours. These are particularly useful for post-immunisation pyrexia, teething pain, and cold or flu symptoms. The smooth, torpedo-shaped design is engineered for comfortable and easy rectal administration.

Key Ingredients

How to Take
Infants (6kg – 8kg / approx. 3–9 months): 1 suppository. Maximum 3 in 24 hours.
Infants (8kg – 12.5kg / approx. 9 months – 2 years): 1 suppository. Maximum 4 in 24 hours.
Instructions: Wash your hands, remove the foil, and gently insert the suppository into the child's rectum. Hold the buttocks together for a few seconds to ensure it stays in place.
Intervals: Leave at least 6 to 8 hours between doses.
What Medicines NOT to Take With Nurofen
Other Ibuprofen products: Never use with Nurofen liquid, Brupro, or Advil.
Other NSAIDs: Avoid use if the child is already taking any other anti-inflammatory medication.
Specific Medical Conditions: Consult a doctor if your child has a history of stomach ulcers, severe heart failure, or asthma triggered by NSAIDs.
