Uriage Bariéderm-Cica Onguent (Ointment) is a high-potency treatment for "cracked" skin that has gone beyond simple dryness. Unlike standard creams, this has a rich, ointment-like texture that can be pressed into painful skin fissures. It utilizes the Poly-2P™ patented complex to create an insulating barrier that shields deep cracks from environmental irritants while repairing the skin barrier at three essential levels. Enriched with Shea Butter and Avocado Oil, it restores lipid levels to the skin, helping to turn brittle, splitting skin back into a supple, comfortable state.

How to Use

• Application: Use the provided spatula (or clean fingertips) to apply the ointment directly into the fissure, filling it completely.

• Frequency: Apply 1 to 2 times daily, or more frequently if the area is exposed to water or friction.

• Best Results: For cracked heels, apply a generous layer before bed and wear cotton socks overnight to lock in the moisture.

Safety Warnings & Restrictions

• External Use Only: Not for use on internal mucous membranes or near the eyes.

• Infected Skin: If the crack shows signs of infection (e.g., yellowish discharge, excessive heat, or spreading redness), consult a doctor rather than using a barrier ointment.

• Slippage: Because this is an ointment, it can be slippery on floors—take care if applying to the soles of your feet.

1. €4.95 charge for all deliveries where the total cost of the order is below €45.00.
2. Free shipping applies for all orders where the total cost of the order is above €45.00.
3. Click and collect option is available from our brick and mortar shop which is free of charge. The shop is located at Walsh’s Pharmacy, Oranmore, Galway, H91 XF51. Customers can purchase their items online and collect in store. If you do not wish to enter the shop when you are collecting, you can park outside and we will bring your order to your car. You can call us at 091-702800 when you arrive. 

Orders are processed Mondays through Fridays and deliveries usually ship within one working day after you receive your confirmation. The deliveries are facilitated by An Post. 

There are no hidden fees or charges associated with any orders. We promise to be up-front with all delivery charges which may be associated with items you order. We only ship within Ireland so there are no import fees or customs to worry about.
