MOTUSOL MAX 2% W/W 50G (DICLOFENAC)

Motusol Max 2% Gel is a topical NSAID (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug) designed for the local treatment of pain caused by acute injuries like strains, sprains, or bruises. Because it contains a concentrated 2% formulation (double the strength of standard 1.16% gels), it only needs to be applied twice daily to provide 24-hour coverage. It penetrates deep into the underlying tissues to reduce inflammation at the source of the injury, helping to restore movement and speed up recovery without the need for oral painkillers.

Key Ingredients

• Diclofenac Diethylamine (2.32% w/w, equivalent to 2% Diclofenac Sodium): The active ingredient that blocks the enzymes responsible for pain and inflammation.

• Excipients: Includes isopropyl alcohol, propylene glycol (for absorption), and a pleasant fragrance.

How to Take (Apply)

• Adults and Children 14+ Years: Apply a cherry-to-walnut sized amount (2g to 4g) to the affected area.

• Frequency: Rub gently into the skin twice a day (preferably morning and evening).

• Maximum Dose: Do not exceed 8g per day.

• Post-Application: Wash your hands immediately unless your hands are the area being treated.

What Medicines NOT to Take/Use

• Other NSAIDs: Avoid using alongside other diclofenac gels (like Voltarol) or oral NSAIDs like Ibuprofen (Nurofen) or Naproxen unless advised by a doctor.

• Damaged Skin: Do not apply to cuts, open wounds, rashes, or infected skin.

• Pregnancy: Do not use if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.

• Oral Painkillers: Use caution if taking oral aspirin or other painkillers, as systemic absorption can still occur.

2. Free shipping applies for all orders where the total cost of the order is above €45.00.
3. Click and collect option is available from our brick and mortar shop which is free of charge. The shop is located at Walsh’s Pharmacy, Oranmore, Galway, H91 XF51. Customers can purchase their items online and collect in store. If you do not wish to enter the shop when you are collecting, you can park outside and we will bring your order to your car. You can call us at 091-702800 when you arrive. 

Orders are processed Mondays through Fridays and deliveries usually ship within one working day after you receive your confirmation. The deliveries are facilitated by An Post. 

There are no hidden fees or charges associated with any orders. We promise to be up-front with all delivery charges which may be associated with items you order. We only ship within Ireland so there are no import fees or customs to worry about.
