Teedex Oral Solution is a raspberry-flavoured, sugar-free medicine widely used in Ireland to manage childhood discomfort. It is specifically formulated to treat pain or fever that is accompanied by sleeplessness. The Paracetamol acts as a gentle painkiller and fever reducer, while the Diphenhydramine (a mild antihistamine) helps dry up runny noses and provides a light sedative effect. It is commonly used for teething pain, post-immunisation irritability, and aches associated with colds, flu, or chickenpox.

Key Ingredients (per 5ml)

• Paracetamol (120mg): For pain relief and temperature reduction.

• Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride (12.5mg): To aid sleep and relieve minor allergy/cold symptoms.

• Excipients: Contains sorbitol and maltitol; may have a mild laxative effect in sensitive children.

How to Give

• Children 2–4 Years: 5ml, up to 3 times in 24 hours.

• Children 4–6 Years: 7.5ml, up to 3 times in 24 hours.

• Children 6–8 Years: 10ml, up to 3 times in 24 hours.

• Children 8–10 Years: 15ml, up to 3 times in 24 hours.

• Children 10–12 Years: 20ml, up to 3 times in 24 hours.

• Important: Leave at least 6 hours between doses. Do not exceed 3 doses in any 24-hour period.

• Age Restriction: Strictly not for use in children under 2 years of age.

Safety Warnings & Restrictions

• Pharmacy Only (P): A pharmacist must review the purchase to ensure it is suitable for the child.

• Do NOT combine with: Other paracetamol products (like Calpol or Paralink) or other antihistamine medicines.

• Drowsiness: This product will cause drowsiness. Children should be kept under supervision as they may be unsteady.

• Epilepsy: Use with caution and consult a doctor, as large doses of antihistamines can potentially trigger fits.

1. €4.95 charge for all deliveries where the total cost of the order is below €45.00.
2. Free shipping applies for all orders where the total cost of the order is above €45.00.
3. Click and collect option is available from our brick and mortar shop which is free of charge. The shop is located at Walsh’s Pharmacy, Oranmore, Galway, H91 XF51. Customers can purchase their items online and collect in store. If you do not wish to enter the shop when you are collecting, you can park outside and we will bring your order to your car. You can call us at 091-702800 when you arrive. 

Orders are processed Mondays through Fridays and deliveries usually ship within one working day after you receive your confirmation. The deliveries are facilitated by An Post. 

There are no hidden fees or charges associated with any orders. We promise to be up-front with all delivery charges which may be associated with items you order. We only ship within Ireland so there are no import fees or customs to worry about.
