The Nurofen for Children Soft Chewable Capsules offer a practical solution for older children who find liquid medicine babyish or have difficulty swallowing tablets. Each soft gel capsule contains 100mg of solubilised ibuprofen, which is absorbed quickly into the bloodstream to reduce inflammation and lower high temperatures for up to 8 hours. These portable "on-the-go" chews are effective for common childhood issues like headaches, dental pain, earache, sore throats, and minor sprains, as well as cold and flu symptoms.

Key Ingredients
Ibuprofen (100mg): The active NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug).
Excipients: Includes gelatin, glucose liquid, sucrose, and soya lecithin. (Note: Contains sugars and soy).
How to Take
Children 7–9 Years: Chew 2 capsules up to 3 times in 24 hours.
Children 10–12 Years: Chew 3 capsules up to 3 times in 24 hours.
Frequency: Leave at least 6 to 8 hours between doses.
Note: Ensure the capsule is chewed thoroughly before swallowing. Can be taken with or without food.
What Medicines NOT to Take
Other Ibuprofen products: Do not use with Nurofen liquid, Nurofen melts, or other brands like Brupro or Advil.
Other NSAIDs: Avoid use if the child is taking aspirin (above 75mg daily), naproxen, or diclofenac.
Blood Thinners: Avoid use if the child is on anticoagulants like Warfarin.
Steroids: Consult a doctor if the child is taking oral corticosteroids (e.g., Prednisolone).
