Sit quietly for 5 minutes before your reading. Avoid caffeine, smoking, or vigorous exercise for at least 30 minutes prior.
Bare your left upper arm. Wrap the wide-range cuff firmly around your arm, positioning the lower edge roughly 2 to 3 cm above the bend of your elbow. Ensure the tube runs down the center of your inner arm.
Sit with your back supported, feet flat on the floor (do not cross your legs). Rest your cuffed arm comfortably on a table so that the cuff sits level with your heart.
Press the large, soft-touch Power/Start button once. Remain perfectly still and quiet while the silent pump automatically inflates and measures your vitals.
Once inflation finishes, your systolic, diastolic, and pulse numbers will show on the color screen alongside your WHO risk category.
