Dozol Oral Solution is a caramel-flavoured, sugar-free medicine trusted by Irish parents for over 40 years. It is uniquely formulated to treat children aged 2 years and older who are suffering from pain or fever that also disrupts their sleep. The Paracetamol acts as a gentle yet effective painkiller and fever reducer, while the Diphenhydramine (a mild antihistamine) helps dry up runny noses and provides a light sedative effect to help a restless child rest. It is commonly used for teething pain, irritability after immunisations, and aches associated with colds and flu.

Key Ingredients (per 5ml)

• Paracetamol (120mg): For pain relief and temperature reduction.

• Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride (12.5mg): To aid sleep and relieve minor allergy/cold symptoms.

• Excipients: Contains sorbitol and maltitol (sugar substitutes).

How to Give

• Children 2–4 Years: 5ml (one dose), up to 3 times in 24 hours.

• Children 4–6 Years: 7.5ml (one dose), up to 3 times in 24 hours.

• Children 6–12 Years: 10ml to 20ml (one dose), up to 3 times in 24 hours.

• Important: Leave at least 6 hours between doses. Do not exceed 3 doses in any 24-hour period.

• Age Restriction: Strictly not for use in children under 2 years of age.

Safety Warnings & Restrictions

• Pharmacy Only (P): A pharmacist must review this purchase. Parents should consult a professional before use in children under 6.

• Do NOT combine with: Other paracetamol products (like Calpol) or other antihistamine/diphenhydramine medicines.

• Side Effects: May cause drowsiness. Children should be supervised as they may feel unsteady.

• Short-Term Use: Not intended for routine use or long-term sleep management.

3. Click and collect option is available from our brick and mortar shop which is free of charge. The shop is located at Walsh’s Pharmacy, Oranmore, Galway, H91 XF51. Customers can purchase their items online and collect in store. If you do not wish to enter the shop when you are collecting, you can park outside and we will bring your order to your car. Orders are processed Mondays through Fridays and deliveries usually ship within one working day after you receive your confirmation. The deliveries are facilitated by An Post. 

There are no hidden fees or charges associated with any orders. We promise to be up-front with all delivery charges which may be associated with items you order. We only ship within Ireland so there are no import fees or customs to worry about.
