Anusol Suppositories are specifically formulated to treat internal symptoms that creams cannot easily reach. Unlike the "HC" version, these do not contain steroids, making them suitable for standard relief of swelling and irritation. They contain a blend of active ingredients: Zinc Oxide and Bismuth salts, which act as mild astringents to shrink swollen tissue, and Balsam Peru, which provides a protective layer and a mild antiseptic action to promote the natural healing of sore or broken skin.

How to Use

• Adults (18+ Years): Insert one suppository into the anus at night, in the morning, and after each bowel movement.

• Preparation: Wash and gently dry the area before use. Remove the plastic wrapper before inserting.

• Administration: Insert the suppository far enough so it does not slip out; it will melt once inside.

• Age Restriction: Not recommended for use in children under 18 years.

• Pharmacy Only (P): Sold behind the pharmacy counter; orders are usually limited to 2 packs.

• Rectal Bleeding: Consult a doctor immediately if you notice blood in your stool or if your symptoms worsen.

• Pregnancy: Generally considered safe, but always consult your doctor or pharmacist before use while pregnant or breastfeeding.

• Duration: If symptoms do not improve within 7 days, seek medical advice.

• Allergy Note: Contains Balsam Peru, which can occasionally cause skin reactions in sensitive individuals.

We ship to houses and properties throughout the Republic of Ireland. These are the options:

1. €4.95 charge for all deliveries where the total cost of the order is below €45.00.
2. Free shipping applies for all orders where the total cost of the order is above €45.00.
3. Click and collect option is available from our brick and mortar shop which is free of charge. The shop is located at Walsh’s Pharmacy, Oranmore, Galway, H91 XF51. Customers can purchase their items online and collect in store. If you do not wish to enter the shop when you are collecting, you can park outside and we will bring your order to your car. You can call us at 091-702800 when you arrive. 

Orders are processed Mondays through Fridays and deliveries usually ship within one working day after you receive your confirmation. The deliveries are facilitated by An Post. 

There are no hidden fees or charges associated with any orders. We promise to be up-front with all delivery charges which may be associated with items you order. We only ship within Ireland so there are no import fees or customs to worry about.
