AMO Lens Plus OcuPure is a sterile rinsing solution formulated to mimic the eye’s natural tears. Its standout feature is the OcuPure® preservative, which stays stable in the bottle but breaks down into natural tear components (water and salt) when exposed to light. This makes it an ideal choice for contact lens wearers with sensitive eyes who need to rinse away powerful disinfecting solutions or debris without the irritation often caused by traditional preservatives. It is suitable for both soft and gas-permeable (hard) lenses.

How to Use

• Rinsing: After removing your lenses from their disinfecting solution, rinse each side thoroughly with Lens Plus OcuPure before putting them in your eyes.

• Protein Removal: Use this saline to dissolve protein-cleaning tablets in your lens case as directed by the tablet manufacturer.

• Storage: Can be used for short-term storage, though a dedicated disinfecting solution is required for overnight cleaning.

• Discard: Once opened, the bottle should be discarded after 60 days to ensure sterility.

Safety Warnings & Restrictions

• Not a Disinfectant: This is a saline rinsing solution only. It does not clean or disinfect your lenses on its own; you must still use a multi-purpose or peroxide-based system.

• No Tap Water: Never rinse your lenses or lens case with tap water, as this can lead to serious eye infections.

• Contamination: Do not touch the tip of the bottle to any surface, including your eye, to prevent contamination.

• Heat Disinfection: If using for heat disinfection, follow the specific instructions provided by your lens manufacturer.

We ship to houses and properties throughout the Republic of Ireland. These are the options:

1. €4.95 charge for all deliveries where the total cost of the order is below €45.00.
2. Free shipping applies for all orders where the total cost of the order is above €45.00.
3. Click and collect option is available from our brick and mortar shop which is free of charge. The shop is located at Walsh’s Pharmacy, Oranmore, Galway, H91 XF51. Customers can purchase their items online and collect in store. If you do not wish to enter the shop when you are collecting, you can park outside and we will bring your order to your car. You can call us at 091-702800 when you arrive. 

Orders are processed Mondays through Fridays and deliveries usually ship within one working day after you receive your confirmation. The deliveries are facilitated by An Post. 

There are no hidden fees or charges associated with any orders. We promise to be up-front with all delivery charges which may be associated with items you order. We only ship within Ireland so there are no import fees or customs to worry about.
