Calpol Infant sugar free 2+ Months 140ml

Calpol 2+ months is strawberry flavoured, sugar-free infant and baby oral suspension of 140mg of paracetamol in each 5ml dose and comes with an easy dose syringe. It is designed for short term use, has a pleasant strawberry flavour, and will relieve raised temperature (fever), post-immunisation fever, cold & flu symptoms, teething, headache, sore throat, mild to moderate pain and earache.

• DO NOT EXCEED STATED DOSE. This product should only be used when clearly necessary. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist as prolonged use without medical supervision may be harmful.

Contents:
It is suitable for most babies and children from 2 months to 6 years. Each 5ml oral suspension contains 120mg paracetamol. Also contains maltitol liquid, E420, E214, E216, E218 and E122 (see patient leaflet for further information). *Sugar Free, Strawberry Flavour, Easy Dose Syringe

How to Use:

• Shake the bottle well before measuring out the dose.
• An easy dose syringe is provided to ensure accuracy.
• Do not exceed the stated dose.
• Wipe the plug and neck of the Bottle clean, rinse and dry the cap before replacing.

Dosage:

AGE 2-3 MONTHS :

• Leave at least 4 hours in between doses.
• Do not give more than 2 doses in any 24 hour period.
• Do not give this medicine to babies less than 2 months of age.
• If further doses are needed, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
• For Post-Vaccination Fever: 2.5 ml dose (1 small end of the spoon = 2.5ml).
• If necessary, after 4-6 hours, give a second 2.5ml dose. For other causes of pain and fever only if the infant weighs over 4kg and was born after 37 weeks: 2.5 ml dose (1 small end of the spoon = 2.5ml).
• If necessary, after 4-6 hours, give a second 2.5ml dose.

OVER 3 MONTHS:

• Leave at least 4 hours in between doses.
• Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24 hour period.
• Do not give this medicine to babies less than 2 months of age.
• Do not give this medicine to your child for more than 3 days without speaking to your doctor or pharmacist.

AGE 3-6 Months:

• Give 2.5ml dose (1 small end of the spoon = 2.5ml) up to 4 times in 24 hours

AGE 6-24 Months:

• Give 5ml dose (1 large end of the spoon = 5ml) up to 4 times in 24 hours

AGE 2-4 Years:

• Give 7.5ml dose (1 large end of the spoon = 5ml, AND 1 small end of the spoon = 2.5ml) up to 4 times in 24 hours

AGE 4-6 Years:

• Give 10ml dose (2 large ends of the spoon = 2 x 5ml) up to 4 times in 24 hours Do not give this medicine to your child for more than 3 days without speaking to your doctor or pharmacist.

Warnings:

Do not exceed the stated dose. For oral administration only. Store in original container to protect from light. Do not store above 25°C. Customers can purchase their items online and collect in store. If you do not wish to enter the shop when you are collecting, you can park outside and we will bring your order to your car. Orders are processed Mondays through Fridays and deliveries usually ship within one working day after you receive your confirmation. The deliveries are facilitated by An Post. 

There are no hidden fees or charges associated with any orders. We promise to be up-front with all delivery charges which may be associated with items you order. We only ship within Ireland so there are no import fees or customs to worry about.
