New Active Iron Pregnancy Plus is a ground-breaking prenatal vitamin formula designed to optimise vitamin and mineral absorption while being kind on the stomach. Active Iron Pregnancy Plus is suitable for use pre, during and post pregnancy.

Active Iron Pregnancy Plus contains 21 essential nutrients for complete nutritional support for pregnancy. This includes Active Iron’s non-constipating iron formula formulated to deliver x2 better absorption than standard iron sulfate (iron tablets). Along with a specially designed multivitamin with Active Folic, and our sustainably sourced Omega 3 supplement. Active Folic delivers a form of folic acid that has x3 greater absorption than standard folic acid. Our multivitamin also includes Vitamin C, D, E, K, B Vitamins and essential minerals. A daily intake of 200mg of DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake for omega 3 fatty acids for adults i.e. 250mg DHA & EPA is beneficial to normal foetal eye and brain development. Supplemental folic acid intake of 400mcg for at least one month before and up to three months after conception, can help reduce the risk of neural tube defects in a developing foetus. Iron, vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12 contribute to normal energy yielding metabolism in the body. Iron supports immune function, cognitive function and oxygen transport as well as red blood cell formation.

1. €4.95 charge for all deliveries where the total cost of the order is below €45.00.
2. Free shipping applies for all orders where the total cost of the order is above €45.00.
3. Click and collect option is available from our brick and mortar shop which is free of charge. The shop is located at Walsh’s Pharmacy, Oranmore, Galway, H91 XF51. Customers can purchase their items online and collect in store. If you do not wish to enter the shop when you are collecting, you can park outside and we will bring your order to your car. You can call us at 091-702800 when you arrive. 

Orders are processed Mondays through Fridays and deliveries usually ship within one working day after you receive your confirmation. The deliveries are facilitated by An Post. 

There are no hidden fees or charges associated with any orders. We promise to be up-front with all delivery charges which may be associated with items you order. We only ship within Ireland so there are no import fees or customs to worry about.
